Camps

Wow! Time has passed fast. Girls Camp is already more than 5 years old. During the week of Girls Camp young women ages 8-16 have the opportunity to experience CSM’s 96 wooded acres in northern lower Michigan. With most girls returning year after year this week of the summer is truly one of a kind.

Our professional female staff brings unique ideas and an abundance of energy to camp. The girls enjoy all of the traditional aspects of camp from horse back riding, field sports and water-sports to the ropes course and a day at Mackinaw Island. During the week the campers also participate in crafting the best art projects, dancing every morning at wake up and they host a spectacular evening fashion show complete with lights and DJ.

Our Girls Camp campers and counselors have created a legacy at CSM of fun, friendship, and faith. Every morning girls celebrate mass and in the evening a prayer service where one of the counselors will share a story about their faith. Listening to 150 women sing a song like “Mighty to Save” at the closing of the prayer service is a moving experience.
